#75064 I want to measure the voltage of batteries in series with the ADC pin. Since I have only 1, these are my ideas for making the circuit. The batteries will be charged by 2 separate chargers.

On the arduino forum post #2 they suggest a good circuit, but it takes to be powered by a separate battery and I am powering my circuit from the 2 batteries that I measure (12V, 120Ah) with a DC to DC step down converter. The arduino forum say that the arduino ground can handle this circuit, but can the Amica rev 2, v 1.0 ground handle it:

2 relays, 2 grounds, I dont know how to make the second ground, I am wondering why not a schassis ground (meaning a wire connected to the battery bank's metal frame):
