Hey guys,
A newbie question here. I have integrated a HX711 load cell amplifier (24 bit ADC) with a Adafruit HUZZAH ESP8266 Breakout (10 bit ADC). My question is, would there be any loss of resolution in the data obtained from the load cell as it is relayed from the amplifier onto the microcontroller? If yes, what are the workarounds?
(Apologies if this sounds plain ridiculous. I come from a mechanical engineering background and I have no idea if the ADC on the microcontroller even matters if the HX711 amplifies and converts the data before passing it through.)
