#7798 Hi

Are there any other fixes for this?

I have GPIO0 pulled up with a 10k resistor as suggested. GPIO2 is connected directly to the data pin on a temp sensor DS18B20. Initial powerup 2/3 startup with gibberish on the serial connection then its frozen. By resetting it pulling RST to ground which is pulled up via a 10k always results in a successful boot.

I am powering via a 5v 2amp tablet charger with an ebay AMS1117 regulator ($1) and a 100uf electrolitic cap on the output. I tried adding a 1000uf cap to the input as well with the same results.

I am running latest nodemcu firmware 20150108

#7802 i was hoping that this problem was caused by bad power supply... Today I tried with a computer power supply (using the 3.3v output of the 24pin cable)... And i still get A LOT of failed boot.
I have two esp8266, one of them boot successfull almost 1/2 of times...the others almost 1/10... it's unbelivable...
