If you can use ESP01s I have some PCBs which do exactly what you want:

@quickfix: Generally I use Wemos boards but unless you are using their shields it becomes messy. These boards are extremely tidy & very small. Lots of I2C devices drop straight in. The USB A connector on the board plugs straight into a phone charger too. No need for a cable.
