ESP8266 Community Forum

I have been following the learning guide from Adafruit for making a wifi weather station, programmed from Arduino IDE. The ESP8266 has a 2.4" featherwing display attached to it, which show show my local weather. The sketch seems to upload just fine, and the screen powers on and shows it connecting to my wifi, but then gets stuck on a screen that says formatting file system. The progress bar goes to about halfway, and then stalls and never moves any further. Ive done a google search on this and didn't find any other problems like this, just wondering if there was a simple remedy to fixing this.

Assumption is the mother of all f*ckups. At least: that's what I'm assuming.
