#80296 Hi guys,

I have about a dozen old esp8266 01 boards that I think some time ago I flashed with Nodemcu, when I connect them and open Arduino IDE they do not seem to program, however in the serial monitor I tried changing the baud rate, the only one that worked was 74880, when i press reset on the device i get:

ets Jan 8 2013,rst cause:1, boot mode:(3,6)

load 0x4010f000, len 1384, room 16
tail 8
chksum 0x2d
csum 0x2d
vffffffff
~ld

Is there a way of flashing new firmware with a useable baud rate or are they now just Toast ?

Thanks in advance

#80303 I had a problem where I couldn't program a module at 115200, my default baud rate. I was able to program it at a slower one without errors. I don't know if it is the same problem as you are experiencing.

The other thing I wonder, is if you have problems with more that those older ESP-1s. Maybe it is a USB issue? I have a few USB hubs that can cause problems.
