Btw I've got a version of esptool-ck which can also flash binaries to the ESP. It works quite well on Windows, Linux, and OS X.

Would like to install vagrant on my MAC. Could you give some help compiling the SDK?

I've been using the toolchain on my mac (10.8) and it's working well. I'm using the esp-open-sdk and just used homebrew to install everything that was missing. It all sits in a case sensitive disk image.
