It also looks like one of your capacitors is fallen off on the S one.

Little off-topic, what capacitor? Where? It does not have a good WiFi signal. I was using it as a Tuya Convert Donor. The Tuya Convert, using a PI WiFi in AP mode, needs a device connected to it besides the device you are trying to flash (Tasmota). It works for sitting next to the PI, but it will not connect to the building AP. Not sure if any of that makes sense, just wondering if the "missing capacitor" could be the reason.

- Thu Jan 09, 2020 3:28 pm #85217 I just tried with 1.8.5 & 2.4.2 on a different computer and it works, though had to reboot computer also I hope you realize that with that esp8266 flasher you need to unplug it after every upload even if it fails, then plug back in. Also on my desktop it only works with USB which is on the motherboard, on the back of computer not the USB that is connected to chassis. Its kind of temperamental. Have you tried a different ESP8266 maybe that one is no good?

First, no I was not un-plug/plug between tests. My bad.

I did move it to the back, rebooted, still did not load. I guess you did not see any issue with my Tool settings, did you?

Log from the try on the back USB. You can see the comport changed. There has to be something stupid I am missing.
