#8855 While choice is good, there is always the risk of just reinventing the wheel.
Just like a previous poster wrote there are today many modules/options to buy.
If you like something for the breadbord that has all the signals I would recommend

As an bonus it has an 2MB flash onboard instead of the usual 512kb.

Ps. If you go ahead with the project I think you should have another look at your traces leading up to the antenna (L1 & C4), they should be as short as possible and their impedance matched to 50 Ohms.

#8897 I appreciate everyones input. This design was just a quick proof of concept, and I agree there is no reason why it should not be breadboard ready.

I still find this chip super interesting, and really like how it can be used as a standalone micro. And would be a lot more fun if its sdk was open source, but I am sure that's a recurring theme on these forums.
