Sorry but I lost the bookmark, and I am beginning to wonder if the module was analogue only anyway because a new search has found nothing.

I haven't had time to work on the project yet, but I have ordered a couple of PCF8591 A/D boards as backup in case the ESP's A/D is not workable.

All I need now is some free time!

True, but I couldn't find a low cost module for experimenting. Any suggestions?

For comparison, the A/D boards were £1.17 each and I picked up 20 condenser mic capsules a while back for £3.55

I´m trying to figure out how to achieve streaming of some short duration live audio (e.g. intercom), and found this MEMS mic with integrated ADC. It´s not that expensive, and I think could help solve some of the drawbacks in ESP8266.
