- Thu Nov 04, 2021 8:45 am #92771 Check the black screen on the bottom of the Arduino IDE. It will the show the error. In my case, I copy-pasted the link two times, so screen was showing some error like Downloading from link....; So anyone facing this issue, recheck your url in preferences -> Additional Boards Manager URLs.

Having an issue with the Community ESP8266 board package. It was working in the morning 4 am AWST then in the evening I could not upload a sketch to my Node MCU V3 as it showed that the port was not available.
I reinstalled the driver CH 341, then tried to get it working by un-installing my board package.
Now it is unable to to install any version of the package and is throwing this error.
